Course Purpose
Instructor-Led Training Events are scheduled events where an instructor and other students meet in a group environment. This course is in a physical classroom.
This course builds upon your knowledge of controller terms and operation and your experience with basic ladder logic programming. It covers project development tasks common to ControlLogix® and CompactLogix® controllers, which use the Logix 5000® control engine.
After completing this course, you should be able to:
- Create a Studio 5000 Logix Designer® project file and configure 1756 I/O modules
- Configure arrays, user-defined data types, and more advanced ladder logic instructions
- Edit and verify ladder logic
- Configure a controller to produce and consume data
- Import and export project files and compare projects for differences
- Update controller and module firmware
