Course Purpose
Instructor-Led Training Events are scheduled events where an instructor and other students meet in a group environment. This course is in a physical classroom.
In this course, you will learn how to troubleshoot a previously operational ControlLogix® system and restore normal operation.
After completing this course, you should be able to:
- Locate hardware and software components
- Interpret ladder logic instructions and project execution
- Practice a systematic strategy for diagnosing and troubleshooting these issues:
- Configuration issues
- Electrical noise
- Faulty/malfunctioning field devices
- Controller, I/O, or other hardware issues
All Logix 5000® systems use the same control engine; therefore, tasks are similar. You will see applicable references for other systems.
