Draw a rounded rectangle or square

Use Rounded_Rectangle_Tool to draw a rectangle or square with rounded corners. After the object is drawn, you can adjust the roundness of the corners as you want to.
To draw a rounded rectangle:
  1. In
    FactoryTalk View Studio
    , in the toolbox, select Rounded_Rectangle_Tool.
  2. To draw a rounded rectangle, drag Rounded_Rectangle_Tool diagonally, until the rounded rectangle is the desired size.
    To draw a rounded square, press
    Ctrl
    while you drag Rounded_Rectangle_Tool.
  3. In the
    Rounded Rectangle Properties
    dialog box, change the styles if needed.
To adjust the roundness of the corners:
  1. Position the cursor on the small handle that appears inside the object.
    TIP:
    You can also right-click the object and select
    Edit
    to show the small handle.
  2. Drag the drawing tool until the rectangle is the desired shape.
