Select a keyboard

Set the default virtual keyboard for a presentation engine and set specific virtual keyboards for specific graphic objects with text input.
TIP: You can only select virtual keyboards at design time.
Prerequisites
To apply a custom virtual keyboard, configure a custom virtual keyboard. See Configure a custom keyboard.
  1. To apply a keyboard
  2. Set
    Virtual keyboard
     to either:
    • Built-in
      . The default virtual keyboard available only for the native presentation engine.
    • Custom
      . Customizable virtual keyboard available for both the native presentation engine and web presentation engine. For more information, see Configure a custom keyboard.
    For more information, see Configure presentation engines.
  3. (optional) Set specific virtual keyboards for specific graphic objects:
    1. In
      Project view
      , select a graphic object that allows you to input text.
      For example, select a text box. See Text box.
    2. At the top of
      Properties
      , select
      Add
       and then select
      Keyboard
      .
    3. From
      Keyboard type
      , select a custom or a built-in virtual keyboard.
