Create a custom event

Add a custom or change event by adding an external event to an object.
External events allow you to manage object events.
  1. From
    Project view
    , select the object that you want to contain the external event.
  2. In
    Properties
     next to
    Events
    , select
    Add
    Add external event
    .
  3. Select the event to manage the events of another object.
  4. Choose
    Select
    .
    The new event appears under
    Events
    .
  5. To link a method to the event, next to the event, select
    Add
    Add new method
     and then select the method.
  6. Choose
    Select
    .
  7. (optional) If the method requires arguments, expand the method and set the arguments.
