TwinCAT driver

Observe these guidelines when working with TwinCAT driver.

Supported controllers

The driver supports these controller families:
  • TwinCAT® runtime
  • Beckhoff ® TwinCAT® systems
IMPORTANT: The driver has been tested with TwinCAT® runtime and CX5130-0155.

Controller tags import

IMPORTANT: Before importing tags from Beckhoff ® TwinCAT® controllers, perform Configure controller routing.
You can import tags in these modes:
Online mode
Use online mode to import tags directly from the controller at design time or runtime.
Offline mode
Use offline mode to import tags from
TPY
 files.
