Sample Projects

The IND780 Terminal PLC Interface Manual and the IND780 Documentation CD contains RSLogix5000 ladder logic examples describing the steps involved in Reading and Writing data to the TAG and creating the CIP Data Table Read and Write message instructions required to read data from and write data into the IND780 Terminal EtherNet/IP Interface Read and Write TAG Data Tables.

Locating the Sample Projects

The example ladder logic may be available as a RSLogix5000 Sample Project file for ControlLogix. Or it may be available as an Add-On Instruction (AOI). Please check the IND780 Documentation CD (P/N # 30205330), or the RA sample code download website at Sample Code Download

Using the Sample Projects

Sample Projects can be used as a model for a separate application, as the start for a new project, or by copying or importing elements to another project. RSLogix5000 partial Import/Export can be used to add a sample project to an existing application project. This minimizes the number of user steps involved, and provides automatic checking and handling of conflicts with the existing project (e.g. duplicate tag names, etc.).
