Replace a CIP Security-enabled 1756-EN4TR Module

WARNING:
Module replacement requires redeployment of the security policy.
To replace a
CIP Security™
-enabled 1756-EN4TR module, follow these steps.
  1. If the security policy includes
    FactoryTalk® Linx
    , then remove
    FactoryTalk® Linx
     from the security policy and redeploy the security policy without
    FactoryTalk® Linx
    .
  2. Replace the 1756-EN4TR module in the disqualified chassis as described in Perform a Direct Module Replacement in the Secondary Chassis.
  3. Redeploy the security policy to the 1756-EN4TR module by using the Validate and Deploy option.
  4. If you removed
    FactoryTalk® Linx
     from the security policy in step 1, then add
    FactoryTalk® Linx
     back to the security policy and redeploy the security policy with
    FactoryTalk® Linx
    .
    The new 1756-EN4TR module becomes accessible in
    FactoryTalk® Linx
    .
  5. If the auto-synchronization setting in the Redundancy Module Configuration Tool (RMCT) is not set to Always, then on the Synchronization tab, select Synchronize Secondary.
