Diagnostics Viewer displays duplicate messages

Possible cause and solution:
  • Scrolling in the Diagnostics Viewer cause duplicate message to be displayed
    To work around this problem, try refreshing the contents of Diagnostics Viewer.
    • On the
      View
      menu, select
      Refresh
      , or select
      Refresh
      on the toolbar.
      If refreshing the contents of the viewer does not remove the duplicate messages, restart the Diagnostics Viewer.
  • Embedded variables in
    FactoryTalk View
    result in duplicate messages
    Duplicate messages might be logged in
    FactoryTalk Diagnostics
    when, in
    FactoryTalk View
    , numeric tag and string tag embedded variables contain invalid placeholders. Check the embedded variables and ensure that all contain valid entries, then refresh the contents of Diagnostics Viewer.
