I cannot configure security from any user account
Possible cause and solution:
- The logged in user or computer account has been assigned the Deny permission for the Configure Security action.Log in using an administrator account or request the administrator to grant the required permission to the account.
- The logged in user or computer account is a member of a group that has been assigned the Deny permission for the Configure Security action.Log in using an account that is a member of the Administrator's group or another group that has the required permissions.
- The account is currently logged in to theFactoryTalkLocal Directory.In aFactoryTalkLocal Directory, you cannot create computer accounts, or configure security for computer accounts. Log in to theFactoryTalkNetwork Directory.IMPORTANT:Security settings are completely separate in the Network Directory and Local Directory. Changes made to the security settings in the Network Directory do not affect the Local Directory and vice versa. If using both a Network and a Local directory, set up security in each directory separately.
