Real Time Diagnostics does not show diagnostic values
Possible cause and solution:
- The client orFactoryTalk LinxOPCUA Connector workstation does not have network connectivity.Verify network continuity between theFactoryTalk Administration Consoleor client application and theFactoryTalk LinxOPCUA Connector workstation.
- TheFactoryTalk LinxOPCUA Connector software is no longer running, has crashed, or its host computer is shut down or restarting.Verify the host PC is running. UseWindowsServices to determine if theFactoryTalk LinxOPCUA Connector service is running.
- TheOPCUA Server hostname, IP address, or fully qualified domain name is incorrect.Verify the hostname, IP address, or fully qualified domain name is entered correctly in.FactoryTalk LinxOPCUA Connector > Computer hosting theFactoryTalk LinxOPCUA Connector
- TheOPCUA Server hostname or fully qualified domain name is not resolved.Enter an IP address inComputer hosting theinstead of a hostname or fully qualified domain name.FactoryTalk LinxOPCUA Connector
- Windowsfirewall or another software firewall is not configured to allowFactoryTalk LinxOPCUA Connector communications.For computers usingWindowsfirewall, use theRockwell AutomationWindowsFirewall Configuration Utility to permit theFactoryTalk LinxOPCUA Connector to listen on the specified IP address.For computers using other software firewalls, use the configuration utility included with the firewall to permit theFactoryTalk LinxOPCUA Connector to listen on the specified IP address and port number.
- TheFactoryTalk LinxOPCUA Connector has not completed uploading theOPCUA Server namespace.Use aFactoryTalkclient, such as theFactoryTalk Live Data Test Client, to monitor the@OPC_NamespaceCacheUploadActiveStatusdiagnostic counter. When the counter changes from True to False, the namespace upload is complete.
