The directory is in read-only mode

Your computer cannot communicate with the

FactoryTalk

network directory server, or if the network connection is lost while configuring the directory.

Check the connection status of the

FactoryTalk

Network Directory server.

Go to

Rockwell Software > FactoryTalk Tools

and run

Specify FactoryTalk Directory Location

. Use this tool to select the name of the computer running the

FactoryTalk

network directory server, or to check its connection status.

Once you have made sure both your computer and the

FactoryTalk

network directory server are connected to the network, run the

FactoryTalk Directory

Configuration wizard again.
