The FactoryTalk Directory Configuration wizard doesn't allow me to do something

The
FactoryTalk Directory
Configuration wizard automatically detects faults with the configuration of the
FactoryTalk Directory
, and then displays the appropriate options.
For example, the wizard allows you to reset an expired password to a
FactoryTalk
administrator account only if the directory actually contains an administrator account with an expired password.
If you find that you cannot do something you were expecting to be able to do, try one of the following:
  • In the
    FactoryTalk Directory
    Configuration Wizard, select
    Cancel
, run the wizard again, and then be sure to select the correct
    FactoryTalk Directory
    on the opening screen.
  • If another user has an account that is a member of the
    FactoryTalk Directory
    Administrators group or the
    Windows
Administrators group, have that user run
    FactoryTalk Administration Console
    or
    FactoryTalk View Studio
, and then help you with your account (for example, reset your password or unlock your account).
