    , right-click an OPC UA Connector, and then select
    Properties
    .
  2. In , select
    OPC UA Servers
    .
  3. On
    OPC UA Servers
    , select a server, and then select opcuac_endpointurl_button next to
    Endpoint URL
    .
Use
Select Endpoint URL
to browse the network and select a server to add to a
FactoryTalk Linx
OPC
UA Connector.
TIP:
For an OPC UA Server endpoint to be discovered when browsing the network, the OPC Foundation Local Discovery service (opcualds.exe) must be running on the server and the associated port must be opened on the firewall. Alternatively, manually enter the endpoint URL as provided by the OPC UA Server management software.

UA Server settings. If no port is specified, the
FactoryTalk Linx
OPC
UA Connector will attempt to connect to port 4880.
The firewall on the
OPC
UA Server must allow incoming connections to the selected port for the connection to succeed.
