Disable CIP Security in FactoryTalk Administration Console

If
CIP Security
 is disabled,
FactoryTalk Linx
 will not listen on TCP port 2221.
To disable
CIP Security
  1. Open
    FactoryTalk Administration Console
    .
  2. In the
    Explorer
     pane, under the
    Communications
     tab, right-click the device at the root, and then select
    Properties
    .
  3. In the
    Device Properties
     dialog, on the
    CIP Security
     tab, select
    Disable
    CIP Security
     (Port 2221)
    , and then select
    Yes
    .
  4. Select
    Apply
    .
