Connection to the controller has been lost status message

This message is shown when the alarm server has lost connectivity with the controller that it is monitoring.
The Alarm and Event Summary only shows one error at a time. The alarm server determines which error to show according to error priority. If multiple errors occur and one of them includes a loss of connection, that error has the highest priority and will be shown instead of any other alarm state. The alarm state will be updated the next time the controller is able to transmit a state transition message to the Alarm and Event Summary. However, some controller errors can prevent the controller from sending state transition messages.
After a disconnection event, if you have verified that the connection to the controller is restored but the message about the connection loss is still being displayed in the Alarm and Event Summary, use the FactoryTalk Diagnostics logs to troubleshoot the issue and restore operations.
