Alarms are not being triggered

If an alarm is not being triggered when the alarm condition it is monitoring occurs, this could be because the alarm is disabled instead of silenced or suppressed.
To enable a disabled alarm
  1. On the toolbar, click the
    Display the Alarm Status Explorer
    Toolbar_ShowAlarmStatusExplorerbutton or right-click an alarm and click
    Alarm Status
    to open the Alarm Status Explorer.
  2. From the
    Alarm Status Explorer
    window, select the alarm or alarms you want to enable, and then click the
    Enable selected alarm
    BUTTON_Enable_selected_alarm_source button.
To enable the alarm bell
  1. Go to the Alarm and Event Banner
  2. Click the
    Enable alarm bell
    Toolbar_AlarmBellEnabled button.
