Alarms are not being triggered
If an alarm is not being triggered when the alarm condition it is monitoring occurs, this could be because the alarm is disabled instead of silenced or suppressed.
To enable a disabled alarm
- On the toolbar, click theDisplay the Alarm Status Explorer
button or right-click an alarm and click
Alarm Statusto open the Alarm Status Explorer. - From theAlarm Status Explorerwindow, select the alarm or alarms you want to enable, and then click theEnable selected alarm
button.
To enable the alarm bell
- Go to the Alarm and Event Banner
- Click theEnable alarm bell
button.
