Alarm and Event Banner Properties - Columns tab

Use the
Columns
tab in the
Alarm and Event Banner Properties
dialog box to configure which columns are displayed and their appearance in the Alarm and Event Banner.
The following table describes the settings available on the tab.
Setting
Description
Show Column
Determines which columns are include in the Alarm and Event Banner alarm list.
Width column
Defines the width of the column in pixels. If information in the display exceeds the width defined, the information is truncated to fit.
Align column
Defines the alignment of the information inside the column.
Format column
Defines the type of information shown in the column using standard formats.
  • Date and Time
    format settings are obtained from the Windows
    Region and Language
    settings in Control Panel.
  • Time
    values can include seconds, milliseconds, or microseconds depending on the timestamp type you select in the drop-down list box. This drop-down list box is located at the bottom of the
    Columns
    tab.
  • Numbers
    are formatted using only the decimal and negative symbols from Windows
    Region and Language
    settings (accessed in Control Panel). All other numeric formats in Windows
    Region and Language
    have no effect on how numbers are displayed, and cannot be modified.
Move Up or Move Down
Used to define the order of the columns in the Alarm and Event Banner. The vertical order in which the column names appear in the list is the order in which the corresponding columns appear horizontally in the Alarm and Event Banner.
Show seconds for all timestamps
Defines the timestamp used for alarm time reporting. Click and select the timestamp type to be displayed in the Alarm and Event Banner from the drop-down list box:

Show microseconds for all timestamps
.
Use millisecond or microsecond for more precise time reporting or if you expect alarms to change state very quickly.
