FactoryTalk Live Data Test Client
displays data items from the selected group. Icons indicate the monitoring status of each item.Setting | Description |

Columns | Data fields in the Test Client window are organized into columns. Use the View menu to add or remove data columns. Select and drag a column divider bar to resize column width. |
Add Group button | Adds a group, then add data items. Select to open Create Group . |
Group list | Use this list to switch between created groups. All data items in all groups are active at the same time, but only one group of data items can be displayed at a time, unless you are running in HMI Emulation Mode . In HMI Emulation Mode only the displayed group of data items is active; all other groups are inactive. |
Active check box | Makes the group of data items active or inactive. |
Rate (mSec) box | Specifies the rate at which the FactoryTalk Live Data Test Client refreshes the data items shown in the viewer window. The default screen update rate is 250 milliseconds. |
Remove Group button | Removes the displayed group of data items. To make a group of data items inactive temporarily, use the Active check box instead. |
Item Properties button | Views the properties of a selected data item. |
Pid | Displays the process identifier of the FactoryTalk Live Data Test Client . Use this value with the OPC Group Diagnostics feature in RSLinx Classic , which displays the process identifier of the OPC client and the OPC group associated with the client.The Pid is in the bottom right corner of the window, to the left of the Elapsed field. |
Elapsed | Displays the amount of time the FactoryTalk Live Data Test Client has been running. Use this value when testing communications. The Elapsed box is in the bottom right corner of the window, to the right of the Pid field. |
