Sync Read data items

When it requests a synchronous read operation, the
OPC
 client waits until the operation is complete before interacting with the client any further. This keeps the display of the data items up-to-date with the data source, but can be less efficient.
To Sync Read data items
  1. In
    FactoryTalk Live Data Test Client
    , select the data items you want to read synchronously.
  2. Right-click a selected data item, then select
    Read Item(s) > Sync Read
    .
