Read data from the cache

Read data from the cache to show data item values from the local cache instead of devices.
IMPORTANT:
Device Read cannot be set for a specific data item or group; the setting affects all data shown in the
FactoryTalk Live Data Test Client
.
To read data from the cache
  1. In
    FactoryTalk Live Data Test Client
    , select any data item.
  2. Select
    Data
     >
    Device Read
    .
    The checkmark disappears, indicating that data is being read from the cache.

Normal
