Import data items

Instead of adding multiple data items one by one, export them from the data server, PLC, or HMI server, and then import them from a comma-separated value (.csv) or XML file.
Imported data items are automatically active.
To import data items
  1. In
    FactoryTalk Live Data Test Client
    , add a new group, or select the group you want to add the data items to.
  2. Select
    Data
    , and then select
    Import Items
    .
  3. In the
    Open
     dialog box, select the type of file you want to import from the
    Files of type
     list.
  4. Browse for the file to import, and then select it.
  5. Select
    Open
    .
