Recipe configuration page

The
Recipe
 configuration page is available for the following controllers:
  • L20E
  • L50E
  • L70E
Up to 10 recipes are supported, with each recipe having up to 50 versions and 128 variables. Having more than 128 variables in a recipe will result in building problems.
Use the
Recipe
 configuration page to do the following actions:
  • Add recipes to or delete recipes from the recipe list.
  • Import recipes from or export recipes to an M8A file.
  • Open the variable selector to add variables to a recipe.
  • Move a recipe's variables up and down in the variable list.
  • Delete recipes from a controller.
Recipe configuration settings
Setting
Description
Recipe list
Lists the recipes in the project.
Select or clear the
RCP<x>
 checkbox to add the recipe to or remove the recipe from the recipe list.
Import
Opens
Import data log
 to Import recipes from an M8A file on the computer.
Import
 is available when the controller is offline.
Export
Export recipes to an M8A file on the controller.
Export
 is available when the following conditions are met:
  • The controller is offline.
  • One or more recipes are added.
Manage recipes
Performs the following actions on the recipes:
  • Upload recipes from the memory card to the computer.
  • Download recipes from the computer to the memory card.
  • Delete recipes from the memory card.
Recipe details
Specifies the following information of the recipe:
  • The recipe name.
  • The separator that distinguishes the different recipe fields.
  • The description of the recipe.
The dialog is available by clicking Settings icon beside a selected recipe.
