Workstation Functionality

The Micro850™ Control and PowerFlex® Drive Educational Workstation provides a hands-on learning platform for industrial control, operator interface, and motor control applications. Combining a Micro850™ controller, PanelView™ 800 HMI, and PowerFlex® 525 AC drive, the workstation enables learners to develop, operate, and troubleshoot complete automation systems using industrial hardware commonly found in manufacturing environments. The workstation supports digital and analogue control applications, Ethernet communications, process monitoring, and drive integration, allowing students to gain practical experience with modern automation technologies.

Training Purpose

The workstation is designed to help learners build foundational and intermediate automation skills through practical exercises involving PLC programming, HMI application development, industrial networking, variable frequency drive configuration, process control, analogue signal management, and troubleshooting techniques.
