New Features

  • Adaptive cloud:
    This feature enables secure synchronization of plant and industrial OT data-including hierarchy and tag information-to Databricks on the customer’s private cloud. Built and supported exclusively for Unified Semantic Model (USM) project types, this capability empowers organizations to leverage their own cloud infrastructure for scalable analytics while maintaining full control over data residency and compliance. With this release, this feature supports one project per environment. [SWCDMPC-9999].
  • Complex asset model:
    The new feature enables Unified Semantic Model projects to support multiple asset levels, allowing you to create hierarchical structures where an asset can have another asset level as its subordinate. The complex asset model feature is built to accommodate the nesting of assets within higher-level devices or equipment, providing a robust foundation for plant-wide asset management systems.   • AWS IoT Core uploader support
    : A new uploader is available to enable data transfer from Edge Connectors to AWS IoT Core. [SWCDMPC-10844]
  • Azure IoT hub and AWS IoT core support for live and backup channel data separation:
    Azure IoT Hub and AWS IoT Core now support separating live and backup channel data through configuration. [SWCDMPC-10857]
  • Redundancy for High-Frequency data acquisition:
     The platform now supports high-frequency data (1-5 sec) collection from Allen-Bradley PLCs with polling intervals as low as one second. Built-in redundancy ensures continuous operation and reliable capture of critical process values while minimizing system load. [SWCDMPC-9756]
  • MySQL data connector:
    A new data connector is available to fetch data from MySQL and upload it to the platform’s structured or time-series database. [SWCDMPC-10843]
  • Live data benchmarking extended to 1.5 lakh tags:
    With this release, the platform handles live data extraction for up to 150,000 tags per second, based on recent benchmarking. This enhancement improves scalability and performance for high-throughput production workloads. [SWCDMPC-8349]
  • Workspace arrangement in Data Explorer V2:
     Data Explorer V2 now includes the ability to arrange workspaces, allowing users to retain their preferred workspace order for improved organization and usability. [SWCDMPC-9599]
  • Drill-down framework for dashboards:
     Introduced a drill-down framework for dashboards. This feature enables users to navigate across multiple levels of dashboard while retaining contextual information. [SWCDMPC-9311]
  • Comma formatting for Tile Widgets
    : Tile Widgets now support comma separators for values greater than 1,000. Previously, all Tile Widgets values displayed without commas, which made large numbers harder to read. This update adds flexibility by allowing commas in Tile Widgets for improved readability. [SWCDMPC-9389]

  • Framework Upgrade:
    We’ve upgraded our web application's UI framework, delivering a faster, more responsive experience for end users. This update improves page load times, enhances overall performance, and ensures smoother navigation across the platform. End users benefit from a more reliable and secure application, optimized for modern browsers and devices, resulting in a seamless and efficient user experience.
  • Asset Model Rules - Browse Parameter option:
     A new Browse Parameter option is introduced to list available parameters when defining asset model rules. This enhancement simplifies parameter selection and improves rule configuration.
  • Display Hierarchy toggle in Tag Browser:
    A new Display Hierarchy toggle is added to the Tag Browser. When enabled, it shows parameter names without hierarchy, allowing users to quickly find the respective tags without navigating through hierarchical structures.
  • Performance improvement:
     Optimized API performance with improved cache control and enhanced UI performance with faster load times for a better user experience and reduced bundle size for ease of installation.

Fixed Anomalies

  • Fixed critical API failures and timeouts that occurred under user load, restoring system responsiveness. [SWCDMPC-10824]
  • Improved database query caching for faster data retrieval times. [SWCDMPC-10502]
  • Fixed anomalies in data connectors, improving the stability of data collected through EventHub and MQTT uploaders. [SWCDMPC-10132]
  • Fixed coefficient calculation anomaly in OPC UA connector. [SWCDMPC-10293]
  • Addressed a defect where Alarms created from Rules were not triggering or appearing on the Alerts page. [SWCDMPC-10899]
  • Resolved user access issues in the Event Configuration page. [SWCDMPC-10774]
  • Stabilized the drag-and-drop actions for SCADA edit page. [SWCDMPC-10817]
  • Fixed "Select parameter” pop-up issue in the Dynamic Widget. [SWCDMPC-10730]
  • Added navigation supports for the other application modules in the Pipeline page. [SWCDMPC-10869]
  • Resolved an issue where configured RDBMS Targets were not visible on the connectivity page. [SWCDMPC-10742]

Removed Features

  • Project type updates:
     Creation of Fixed‑Level and N‑Level projects is removed from this release, and Unified Semantic Model is now the default project type. Existing Fixed‑Level and N‑Level projects continue to operate as before, and support for these existing projects remains available.
