Remove and Install the AC Common Mode Filter Circuit Board for Frame 7

Replace the AC common mode filter circuit board with kit catalog number SK-RM-EMCFB1. Follow these steps to remove and install the AC common mode filter circuit board.
  1. Review the product advisories in Before You Begin.
  2. Remove power from the system.
  3. Open the enclosure door.
  4. Remove the protective guard. See Remove and Install the Protective Guard for Frame 7.
  5. IMPORTANT: The PE-A2 jumper on the new AC common mode filter circuit board must be installed in the same position as the old board.
  6. Record the position of the PE-A2 jumper on the circuit board.

  7. Disconnect the PE-A2 jumper wire from the wire stake on the board.
  8. Remove the five, M4 x 16 mm slotted-Torx screws that secure the circuit board to the sheet metal panel and remove the board.

  9. Repeat steps 5…7 for each AC common mode filter board.
  10. Install the AC common mode filter circuit board in the reverse order of removal.
  11. Verify that the PE-A2 jumper is installed in the same position on the new board as it was on the old board.
