Remove and Install the AC Precharge TVSS Module for
Frame 7L

Replace the AC precharge TVSS module with kit catalog number 20-750-MACP-CD-TVSS (400V/480V) or 20-750-MACP-EF-TVSS (600V/690V). Kit catalog number 20-750-MACP-EF-TVSS (600V/690V) is not used with frame 7L liquid cooled drives. Follow these steps to remove and install the AC precharge TVSS module relay.
  1. Review the product advisories in Before You Begin.
  2. Remove power from the system.
  3. Open the enclosure door.
  5. TIP: The AC precharge TVSS module is located behind the control pod and on the back of the AC precharge components panel.
  6. Open the AC precharge components panel. See Open and Close the AC Precharge Components Panel for Frame 7L.
  7. Disconnect connector P15 (B) from the module.
  8. Remove either the M6 hex nut or M6 x 10 mm Torx screw that secures the ground wire to the appropriate PE-A1 terminal.
  9. Loosen the terminal block screws that secure the wires to terminals R/L1, S/L2, and T/L3 and remove the wires.

  10. Remove the two M4 x 10 mm slotted-Torx screws that secure the TVSS module to the panel and remove the module.

  11. Install the AC precharge TVSS module in the reverse order of removal.
