Configuring FactoryTalk Optix to connect to FactoryTalk DataMosaix SaaS

Make sure that you have installed the
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
 application on your system. Once you select the source type as
FactoryTalk Optix
 in the Source Info section, a link to download the application will appear (Get FactoryTalk Optix). You can also download the
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
 from
FactoryTalk Hub
. For more information on installation, refer to Install FactoryTalk Optix Studio.
Perform the following steps to configure
FactoryTalk Optix
 to connect to
FactoryTalk DataMosaix SaaS
:
  1. Launch the
    FactoryTalk Optix Studio
     application.
  2. To open a
    FactoryTalk Optix
     project:
    • For existing projects, click any project from the
      Recent projects
       section.
      Open Existing Project
    • For a new project, click
      New
       [+].
  3. Provide the
    Name
     and
    Location
     details.
    New FactoryTalk Optix Project
  4. Click
    Create
    .
