Time Synchronization view

  1. On the explorer bar, select Devices Icon
    Devices
    .
  2. In
    Devices
    , double-click the controller to open the device profile.
  3. In the device profile, select
    Time Synchronization
    .
Use the
Time Synchronization
 view to view time synchronization status and enable or disable time synchronization on the controller. Enabling time synchronization allows the controller to participate as a clock in the system time. It also allows the controller to become a master clock for the system, or become a master clock in the chassis.
If the controller is the grandmaster clock, all devices connected to the controller synchronize with the clock of the controller. The
Time Synchronization
 view displays details for the device that is acting as the grandmaster clock.
