Create a Modbus Master Command list

In the
Device definition
 dialog box, use the settings in the
Channel
X
 - Modbus Master
 view to create and configure the Master Command list.
Prerequisites
  • The device must be offline.
To create a Modbus Master Command list
  1. On the tab for the device, select
    Overview
    , and then select
    Device definition
    .
  2. In
    Device definition
    , select
    Overview
    , and then select
    Modbus Master
     as the protocol to use on the channel.
  3. From the navigation of
    Device definition
    , select
    Channel
    X
     that has
    Modbus Master
     as the selected protocol.
  4. In the
    Channel
    X
     - Modbus Master
    view, configure the parameters, and then select
    OK
    .
