The
Input Points
 view includes these parameters:
Parameter
Description
Point
Displays the point number to which this configuration applies.
Point Mode
Defines the mode of the safety input point.
  • Not Used – The input is not used.
  • Safety Pulse Test – Use the input as a safety input with pulse tests performed on its input circuit. A test source must be used as the 24V source for this circuit. The pulse test detects shorts to the 24V and channel-to-channel shorts to other inputs.
  • Safety – Use the input as a safety input.
Test Source
Defines the test source to use for the point.
This parameter is available when Point Mode is set to Safety Pulse Test.
Input Delay Time (ms)
Off → On
Defines the amount of time for an Off to On transition delay.
The input turns on only if the input contact remains on after the on-delay time has elapsed. This prevents rapid changes of the input data due to contact bounce.

On → Off
Defines the amount of time for an On to Off transition delay.
The input turns off only if the input contact remains off after the off-delay time has elapsed. This prevents rapid changes of the input data due to contact bounce.
Diagnostics
Opens the Diagnostics dialog, which contains diagnostic information.
Latch Fault until Reset via Output Tag
Enable or disable latching fault until reset via output tag.
  • Disabled – A recoverable channel fault is only cleared when all following conditions are true:
    • The fault condition is removed.
    • The safety input signal is low.
    • One second of fault latching time is expired.
  • Enabled – A recoverable channel fault is only cleared when all following conditions are true:
    • The fault condition is removed.
    • A 0 to 1 transition of ResetFault in the output tag is received.
