Edit Custom Thresholds (5015-U8IHFTXT)

How do I edit custom thresholds?
  1. On
    Controller Organizer
, double-click the device to open
    Module Properties
    .
  2. On
    Module Properties
    , select one of these:
    • Channels > Pt0x - Digital Timestamp Input
    • Channels > Pt0x - Digital Input
  3. Select
    Thresholds
    .
    1. Complete the parameters and select
      OK
      .
Use
Edit Custom Thresholds
to create a custom diagnostics configuration. Enter the rising and falling threshold values for indeterminate, short circuit, and open wire diagnostics. The device determines the channel state and the line fault status by comparing the channel input voltage with these threshold values. Determine line faults such as short circuit and wire off by using different input voltage values.
Parameter
Description
On to Short Circuit Rising
Specifies the rising threshold value for short circuit on condition.
The range is between -32.000 V and 32.000 V.
This value is displayed as a floating point with three digits to the right of the decimal point. The value is stored as a scaled integer (Stored Value = Displayed value * 1000).
This value must be greater than or equal to the
Short Circuit to On Falling
threshold and greater than or equal to the
Indeterminate to On Rising
threshold.
Short Circuit to On Falling
Specifies the falling threshold value for short circuit off condition.
The range is between -32.000 V and 32.000 V.
This value displays as a floating point with three digits to the right of the decimal point. The value is stored as a scaled integer (Stored Value = Displayed value * 1000).
This value must be less than or equal to the
On to Short Circuit Rising
threshold and greater than or equal to the
On to Indeterminate Falling
threshold.
Indeterminate to On Rising
Specifies the rising threshold value for indeterminate on condition.
The range is between -32.000 V and 32.000 V.
This value is displayed as a floating point with three digits to the right of the decimal point. The value is stored as a scaled integer (Stored Value = Displayed value * 1000).
This value must be greater than or equal to the
On to Indeterminate Falling
threshold and greater than or equal to the
Off to Indeterminate Rising
threshold.
On to Indeterminate Falling
Specifies the falling threshold value for indeterminate on condition.
The range is between -32.000 V and 32.000 V.
This value is displayed as a floating point with three digits to the right of the decimal point. The value is stored as a scaled integer (Stored Value = Displayed value * 1000).
This value must be less than or equal to the
Indeterminate to On Rising
threshold and greater than or equal to the
Indeterminate to Off Falling
threshold.
Off to Indeterminate Rising
Specifies the rising threshold value for indeterminate off condition.
The range is between -32.000 V and 32.000 V.
This value is displayed as a floating point with three digits to the right of the decimal point. The value is stored as a scaled integer (Stored Value = Displayed value * 1000).
This value must be greater than or equal to the
Indeterminate to Off Falling
threshold
and greater than or equal to the
Open Wire to Off Rising
threshold.
Indeterminate to Off Falling
Specifies the falling threshold value for indeterminate off condition.
The range is between -32.000 V and 32.000 V.
This value is displayed as a floating point with three digits to the right of the decimal point. The value is stored as a scaled integer (Stored Value = Displayed value * 1000).
This value must be less than or equal to the
Off to Indeterminate Rising
threshold and greater than or equal to the
Off to Open Wire Falling
threshold.
Open Wire to Off Rising
Specifies the rising threshold value for open wire off condition.
The range is between -32.000 V and 32.000 V.
This value is displayed as a floating point with three digits to the right of the decimal point. The value is stored as a scaled integer (Stored Value = Displayed value * 1000).
This value must be greater than or equal to the
Off to Open Wire Falling
threshold.
Off to Open Wire Falling
Specifies the falling threshold value for open wire off condition.
The range is between -32.000 V and 32.000 V.
This value is displayed as a floating point with three digits to the right of the decimal point. The value is stored as a scaled integer (Stored Value = Displayed value * 1000).
This value must be less than or equal to the
Open Wire to Off Rising
threshold.
