Diagnose a problem with a device

Use
Device Information Diagnostics
 to diagnose a problem.
Diagnostics is disabled when:
  • You are operating offline.
  • An Identity mismatch exists (for simplex devices).
  • An Identity mismatch exists on both Module A and Module B (for duplex devices).
To diagnose a problem with a device:
      1. On
        Controller Organizer
        , double-click the device to open
        Module Properties
        .
      1. On
        Module Properties
        , select
        Device Information
        .
    3. On
      Device Information
      , select
      Diagnostics
      .
  2. (Optional) If automatic refresh for some parameters stops, select
    Retry.
  3. On
    Device Information Diagnostics
    , view device diagnostics.
