Points
view includes these parameters:
TIP:
For 1756 digital diagnostic input devices, if the connection is configured for Rack, the diagnostic configuration and I/O data are not supported; if the connection is configured for Data, the diagnostic configuration and I/O data are supported. The supported diagnostics are determined by the catalog number.
Parameter | Description |

Point | Indicates the point to which this configuration applies. |
Enable Change of State | Enables data transmission when an input point changes state. |
Enable Diagnostics for Open Wire | Enables open circuit detection for each point on the device. |
Enable Diagnostics for Field Power Loss (Diagnostic AC input devices only) | Enables the detection of loss of field power to the digital input device. |
Enable Diagnostics Latching | Configures each point on the device to latch diagnostic members so that they remain set after they are triggered. |
