Device-defined output tags (floating point)
The set of tags associated with a device depends on the device type and the communication format. For each operational mode, integer or floating point, there are three sets of tags:
- Input
- Output
- Configuration
This table includes the output tags for 1756 analog output devices operating in floating point mode.

Ch0Data | REAL | The output value in engineering units that the channel is requested to take by the control system. The output signal transitions to the requested value unless the device is in program mode or currently being calibrated. The signal snaps to the requested value unless ramping or the value is beyond the configured channel limits, Ch0LowLimit and Ch0HighLimit. |
