view includes these parameters:Parameter | Description |

Sensor Type and Range | Select the sensor type and expected measuring range. Selecting the appropriate measuring range configures the device to deliver the best resolution for the range selected. |
Temperature Units | When Sensor Type and Range is set to one of the Millivolt choices, the Temperature Units field becomes “Custom”, and High/Low Signal and High/Low Engineering are enabled.When Sensor Type and Range is set to a thermocouple choice, the Temperature Units field becomes “Celsius”, and High/Low Signal , High/Low Engineering , and Engineering Units are preset to the proper values and are disabled.You can choose other Temperature Units (Kelvin, Fahrenheit, or Rankine) with the same behavior of the controls as the Celsius choice. You can also choose “Custom” in which case High/Low Signal , High/Low Engineering , and Engineering Units are enabled. |
Cold Junction | Select whether the device uses Local or Remote cold-junction compensation. |
CJ Sensor Offset | A parameter to be used with thermocouple sensors when Remote cold-junction compensation is selected. Enter a value between 0 and 10000°C (input in 1/100°C). |
Engineering Units | Sets the unit of measurement for High Engineering and Low Engineering and for the channel’s input value. |
High Signal | Sets one of the four constants in the scaling equation. High Signal is in terms of the input signal units and corresponds to High Engineering when scaled.High Signal must be greater than Low Signal . |
High Engineering | Sets one of the four constants in the scaling equation. High Engineering corresponds to High Signal and helps determine the engineering units that the signal values scale into. |
Low Signal | Sets one of the four constants in the scaling equation. Low Signal is in terms of the input signal units and corresponds to Low Engineering when scaled. |
Low Engineering | Sets one of the four constants in the scaling equation. Low Engineering corresponds to Low Signal and helps determine the engineering units that the signal values scale into. |
Digital Filter | Sets the time constant for a first order lag filter used to smooth noise transients on the input with a range from 0 through 32767. When set to 0, no filtering takes place. |
Enable Diagnostics | Enables short circuit and open wire detection on the channel when selected. |
