Add-On-Profile (AOP)

The module functionality is configured through a custom, separately installed Add-On-Profile within Studio 5000 Software. When a module from the Studio 5000 Select Module dialog is added to the project tree, the following items are created in the project:
  • A custom Module-Defined Data Type, and corresponding Input, Output, and Configuration Tags.
  • A producer/consumer IO connection using the module’s specific IO assemblies and sizes.
