Indicators and LEDs

The Ethernet module has a set of status LEDs that indicate the current status of the Ethernet connection.

The meaning of the individual status LEDs are described in the table below.

Status LED states
LED	Color	Meaning
Power	Off	Supply voltage is off or too low
Power	Green	Supply voltage is ok
Device status	Green	Device status is ok
	Flashing Red	A device error of diagnostic behavior "Warning" has occurred
	Red	A device error of diagnostic behavior "Alarm" has occurred
	Alternate Red / Green	Boot loader is active
Network status	Off	Device has no EtherNet/IP address
	Green	Device's EtherNet/IP connection is active
	Flashing Green	Device has EtherNet/IP address but no EtherNet/IP connection
	Red	Duplicate EtherNet/IP address detected
	Flashing Red	Device's EtherNet/IP connection is in timeout mode
Link / Activity	Orange	Link available but no activity
Link / Activity	Flashing Orange	Activity present
