Indicators and LEDs
The Ethernet module has a set of status LEDs that indicate the current status of the Ethernet
connection.
The meaning of the individual status LEDs are described in the table below.
LED | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
Power | Off | Supply voltage is off or too low |
Green | Supply voltage is ok | |
Device status | Green | Device status is ok |
Flashing Red | A device error of diagnostic behavior "Warning" has occurred | |
Red | A device error of diagnostic behavior "Alarm" has occurred | |
Alternate Red / Green | Boot loader is active | |
Network status | Off | Device has no EtherNet/IP address |
Green | Device's EtherNet/IP connection is active | |
Flashing Green | Device has EtherNet/IP address but no EtherNet/IP connection | |
Red | Duplicate EtherNet/IP address detected | |
Flashing Red | Device's EtherNet/IP connection is in timeout mode | |
Link / Activity | Orange | Link available but no activity |
Flashing Orange | Activity present |
