MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA, February 16, 2023 – Rockwell Automation, the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation, has announced that Products for Industry (PFi) has been promoted to Gold OEM Partner status within the company’s PartnerNetwork™ program.
PFi is a locally owned and operated business, based in Queensland, Australia, servicing the industrial sector. The company offers a suite of capabilities to support manufacturers with machine automation products, systems, and solutions.
“Being part of the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork provides companies like PFi with an opportunity to collaborate commercially and technically to increase new business opportunities,” said Jason Lim, OEM account manager, Rockwell Automation.
“The elevation to Gold status shows that PFi has been selected as a company that has met enterprise product design, marketing, and business relationship criteria on Rockwell Automation products and technology across their entire company,” added Lim.
PFi managing director, Gavin Dunwoodie, expressed excitement at taking the relationship to the next level.
“We’ve been working with Rockwell Automation for many years now, across a broad range of automation products and solutions. We know Rockwell Automation has the resources and technical ability to back us every step of the way, and we are looking forward to ramping things up as a Gold OEM Partner,” he said.
Among the products and service that PFi employs is Emulate3D™ by Rockwell Automation. This software is used to create digital twins, which help customers to visualise and simulate new or upgraded plants and equipment prior to the physical implementation.
Using 3D CAD modelling and integrated automation software, Emulate3D allows users to test the entire production process virtually, which helps to optimise the solution to save space, time, downtime, energy usage, and cost.
“We’ve been using Rockwell Automation’s digital twin visualisation software, Emulate3D, as a value-add for customers. It has proved very popular and has played a big part in helping to grow our own business at an incredible pace. Just seven years ago, PFi had 26 employees, and today, it has more than 250,” said Dunwoodie.
“Australian manufacturing has a bright future, and we are ready to work closely with Rockwell Automation to offer better solutions to a wider range of customers than ever before,” he concluded.
