Cybersecurity Performance Goals (CPGs) are a foundational set of information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) practices and recommendations that can help organizations better prioritize cybersecurity efforts and reduce risk. CPGs are increasingly becoming a quick start guide across industries including manufacturing .
Despite the risk posed by attacks on cyber-physical systems that may impact the physical world and public safety, aging OT assets are frequently exposed and vulnerable. The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) in the United States recognized this shortcoming and has created OT-specific goals and actions in the form of cross-sector CPGs.
Without this specificity, asset owners may either conclude that OT assets are not at risk or that the practices don’t apply to them. We highlight a few key points in the CPGs that are particularly important in an upcoming webinar on 13 April that is jointly organized by Rockwell Automation and Claroty , Rockwell Automation Technology Partner.
Join the discussion with cybersecurity experts from Claroty and Rockwell Automation in Asia Pacific to learn more about the latest regulatory guidelines in the region, its impact and the value of CPGs .
Key takeaways:
- Recent regulatory guidelines and CPGs in a nutshell
- How do CPGs help to deal with challenges such as aging infrastructure, skillset gaps and increasingly inter-connected cyber-physical systems
- How can Rockwell Automation and Claroty help you in your cyber resilience journey
