Connect an 800F Operator to the 800F Communication Interface Module

Follow these steps to connect an 800F operator to the bus using an 800F push button communication interface module.
To ease connection, install the communication interface module to the mounting latch before you connect the latch to the operator.
  1. Attach the communication interface module onto the mounting latch of the 800F operator .

  2. Tighten the mounting ring on the 800F operator, then attach the latch with communication interface module onto the 800F operator. The module snaps into place when properly seated.
    • For plastic operators, torque to 1.7 N•m (15 lb•in)
    • For metal operators, torque to 4.4 N•m (40 lb•in)

  3. Attach the 1486-CON connector into the connection jack of the communication interface module.
