Create a new project from a sample project

Create a new project from a sample project to reuse the components in the new project.
To create a new project from a sample project:
  1. Select
    From Sample Project
    .
  2. (optional) In the
    Select Sample Project
     dialog box, select a file type from the list.
  3. Navigate to and select a project file.
  4. Select
    Open
    . The
    Save As
     dialog box is displayed.
  5. In the
    Name
     box, type a name for the new project file. The name is limited to 40 characters and must meet the IEC-61131 Name standard.
  6. (optional) In the
    Location box
    , type or browse to a location to store the new project file.
  7. Select
    Save
    .
