Create a new FactoryTalk View project

Create a new
FactoryTalk View
 project file to develop a runtime application for a
PanelView™
Plus graphics terminal or a
FactoryTalk View ME
 or
FactoryTalk View SE
 station or server.
A red outline around a box indicates that the value is invalid. Hover over the box to display a tooltip with additional information explaining why the entry is invalid.
To create a new
FactoryTalk View
 project:
  1. Select
    New Project
    .
  2. In the
    Project Types
     column, select
    FactoryTalk View
    .
  3. Locate the graphics terminal, station, or server for this project by expanding each category in the list or by typing a search term in the search bar.
  4. Select a graphics terminal, station, or server from the list.
  5. In the
    Name
     box, type a name for the project file. The name is limited to 40 characters and must meet the IEC-61131 Name standard.
  6. (optional) In the
    Location
     box, type or browse to a location to store the project file.
  7. Select
    Next
     to configure the project.
