Locate target modules using the Favorites tab

The
Favorites
tab in the
Select Module Type
 dialog box is similar to the
Catalog
tab except there is not the option to
Show Filters
 or
Hide Filters
. So there is no way to filter the module types based on their categories or vendors.
  1. Start typing in the Search box to narrow the list of available modules in the
    Favorites
    Results list.
    Only those module types that can be created under the given context display in the Favorites Results list, even though there might be more configured module types in the list. For example, some I/O Module types may have been added to Favorites. But when trying to configure module types under a 1769 backplane, the Favorites list would not show the I/O Module types because they are not valid under the 1769 backplane context.
  2. (optional) Select
    Clear Filter
     to start a new search.
  3. Select a module and select
    Create
    to configure module properties.
