PVLVS status and parameters

Use the
Advanced
 tab of the
PVLVS Properties
 dialog box to configure the instruction status and set the parameter values for the selected Process Valve Statistics (PVLVS) instruction.
To configure the instruction status and parameters for PVLVS instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>
      .
  2. Open the
    Advanced
     tab.
  3. Set the parameters:
    • Valve has stopped or other state(s) to be monitored
      . The valve statistic calculation for stopped or other states to be monitored.
    • Maximum Time Closing before raising Status Slow Close
      . The maximum time for valve to be in the closing state before indicating that the valve closed slower than expected.
    • Maximum Time Opening before raising Status Slow Open
      . The maximum time for valve to be in the opening state before indicating that valve opened slower than expected.
    • Stopped or Other State Text
      . The text for stopped or other state to be displayed in HMI.
  4. View the ready-only parameters:
    • Device issues
      . Error in configuration.
    • Valve Operation Status
      . The last opened to closed stroke or closed to opened stroke exceeded configured time threshold. If state change is within configured time, threshold valve is operating as expected.
  5. Select
    Apply
    .
