Clearing the Signature History

The signature history records can be removed. However, before you can clear the signature history, the following conditions are checked:
  • You must be offline to perform this procedure.
    • The
      Clear Signature History
       button is enabled only when offline and history entries exist. Note that you must first remove the Instruction Signature to unseal the instruction before the signature history can be cleared.
      • If this is a safety Add-on Instruction, the project cannot be safety-locked or have a safety task signature.
To remove the entries in the Signature History table
  1. To clear the signature history, click the
    Clear Signature History
     button.
  2. Answer
    Yes
     to the prompt "Delete signature history?" Note the following:
    • Answering Yes clears the signature history table (removes all history records) and updates the Last Edit Date.
      IMPORTANT: This is an immediate action that cannot be undone.
    • Answering
      No
       cancels the operation.
  3. Click
    OK
     and save the project.
    NOTE: The Remove signature action is lost (with all unsaved edits) if the project is not saved.
