The selection diverge branch represents two or more alternate paths of execution.
In a selection branch, only one alternate path is executed depending on which transition condition is true.

Description
A selected branch represents a choice between one step or group of steps or another step or group of steps (that is, an OR structure).
  • Only one branch executes.
  • By default the controller checks the transitions from left to right.
    • The controller takes the first true branch.
    • The
      Logix Designer
       application lets you change the order in which the controller checks the transitions.
