Monitor a data file
To monitor a data file, follow these steps:
- FromRSWho, click the plus sign (+) to the left of the network that contains the processor for which you want to view the data file list. Clicking the plus sign (+) expands the network so you can view all processors and workstations contained on that network.
- Select the processor for which you want to view the data file list.
- Right-click and selectData Monitor. The Data file list window displays the list of available data files for the selected processor. If you right-click on a processor and the Data Monitor selection does not display in the menu, data monitoring is not currently supported for that processor. You can display multiple instances of a processor’s data file list by returning to RSWho, selecting the processor, right-clicking, and selecting Data Monitor again.
- From the data file list, double-click the data file for which you wish to monitor values. The Data table window for the specified data file appears.IMPORTANT: You can monitor multiple data files or multiple instances of the same data file at the same time by returning to the data file list and double-clicking multiple data files or double-clicking the data file again.
