Troubleshooting

At release time, this application presents certain circumstances and errors that require troubleshooting. This section supplies categories of Troubleshooting topics that indicate possible causes and solutions.
Cannot import tags
Possible cause and solution:
  • The
    FactoryTalk View
     CSV file uses another decimal symbol other than a period ('.') for floating point tags.
    Change the decimal symbol to the period ('.') in the CSV file and try again.
  • Your operating system uses the comma (',') as the decimal symbol.
    Change the decimal symbol to another decimal symbol other than the comma (',') in the regional format settings and try again.
