Export FactoryTalk View tag database to CSV files

Use the Tag Import and Export Wizard to export
FactoryTalk View
tag database to CSV files.
TIP:
  • You can only run the Tag Import and Export Wizard on the computer hosting the HMI project.
  • Project and database names must be unique on any one computer. Do not attempt to import a project to a location on the same computer (on a different drive, for example) that already has a project with the same name.
  • If you are exporting a Site Edition project, you have the option of exporting alarm information as well as tag information by selecting the
    Alarms
    check box.
  • The applications you select must be created on
    FactoryTalk View
6.10 or later, or already converted to
    FactoryTalk View
6.10 or later, otherwise the export process will not succeed.
